Dr. Zoë Oliver has practiced Emergency Medicine since 2004. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario and her residencies in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine in Ottawa and Winnipeg. Her academic interests include writing, education and trauma (all types).

Dr. Oliver’s writing has been featured in the National Post, the Globe and Mail, the Calgary Herald, the Montreal Gazette and others. She has particular expertise in GRADE guideline editing and has edited for organizations such as the Neurocritical Care Society, the American Health Information Management Association, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

She is presently at work on a novel which explores the meaning of female resilience.
